Thanks to the strong support of tens of thousands of nonprofits, employers, faith organizations, schools and other organizations around the nation, 9/11 is now this nation’s largest day of charitable engagement.  Last year more than 40 million people observed 9/11 by performing good deeds and engaging in service activities that help others.  Because of its motivating power, 9/11 is a crucial opportunity for us to engage volunteers and supporters, as well as mobilize those already helping.  In fact, one quarter of all adult Americans said they would have participated in 9/11 Day activities if they’d simply been asked or invited by organizations they know. So that’s your cue!  Supporting 9/11 Day is easy. There are countless ways to get make a difference….

In honor of September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance, AZCC and the Flagstaff Family Food Bank will be teaming up on September 15th to assist in food relief efforts for our local community.
